Open Bible Stories

The Whole Story; For the Formation of the Church.

From Creation to New Creation

The Open Bible Stories are fifty key narratives drawn from the whole of Scripture, from Creation to New Creation. Each story is retold in accessible language for use across languages, cultures, and contexts, and organized around five movements to guide your community through a process of deep formation.

Together, these fifty stories are not isolated lessons. They are a single, unified account of what God has done, is doing, and will do; and they are designed to form the community that tells them. Each story in the index below moves through five moments: observing the details of the text, discussing its theological meaning, reflecting on its personal implications, ministering it to the church, and carrying it into witness among unbelievers.

Every movement is designed not just to inform but to form, shaping disciples from the inside out, one story at a time.
